“What is that!?”
It’s a challenge to Americans to go 24 hours without being grumpy, crabby, or rude in order to promote peace, harmony, and lighthearted humor.
No grumping, no frowning, no grousing, complaining, punching, slapping, hitting or killing.
Today, 7-May 2008, is the Great American Grump Out. Let me get this right, you wake up and decide to go twenty-four hours without being grumpy… yeeeaaahhhh!
Would it kill you to do this every day, are you so… that you have to set a special day aside? Hmmm!
In high school, every morning, one of us had to be angry and grumpy. We would sit down to have breakfast and at least one of us had to be pissed off and silent, wierd ha? It was just one hour in the day when we all did something together, the same hour when one of us was…grumpy!
There was this one day when we were all suprisingly jolly. Andy then asked why no one was pissed off that morning, we all just laughed it off… Carol then decides to climb the decar and take tea from up; she was on her way up and her cup was on it’s way down onto B’s bed. (That’s one of the few times in my life when i see everything in slow motion) We all left the room, the day was ‘too good to be bad’.
I now think that this day might be alittle ‘meaningful’. If we had a grump out day back then (in Uganda), maybe we would have had one day a year when we were all smiling; not that it would really help!
Smile, everything is beautiful! Yeah, good luck with that!
